Our client specialises in the design and build of complex electro-mechanical assemblies, operating in a low volume, high complexity production environment.

As an IPC 620 Panel Wireman, your duties will include:

• Reading and interpreting wiring schematics to wire a range of power systems to IPC 620 standard
• Building complex electrical and mechanical assemblies from technical drawings and specifications
• Carrying out rework, repair and modification of electro-mechanical assemblies and test units
• Maintaining company build standards and quality requirements at all times
• Working closely with clients on technical requirements from initial design through to build and test

The ideal IPC 620 Panel Wireman will have:

• A valid IPC 620 certification
• Proven experience reading and working from wiring schematics
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Experience in a low volume, high complexity engineering or production environment
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

Key responsibilities as a Vehicle Spray Painter:

• Inspect and prepare vehicles prior to painting, ensuring surfaces are suitable for refinishing
• Apply paint finishes using modern spraying equipment and current industry techniques
• Complete work to a consistently high standard to ensure quality results and customer satisfaction
• Maintain spray equipment, tools and workspaces in a clean, organised and operational condition
• Contribute to workshop productivity by completing tasks within agreed timeframes
• Identify and report any health, safety or operational issues that could impact work progress
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures at all times

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a commercial or vehicle spray painter in a workshop environment
• Strong understanding of spray painting processes, including preparation, mixing and application
• High attention to detail with the ability to produce a consistently strong finish
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Able to manage workload independently with minimal supervision
