Working as a HGV Fleet Mechanic you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair work, on a modern fleet of vehicles. As such, you will also be responsible for:
- Completing inspections and identifying problems and raising these with the Workshop Manager
- Conducting maintenance and repairs
- Completing any relevant paperwork and maintaining records of all work carried out
- Following all company policies and procedures, particularly related to health and safety
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work environment
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in servicing and maintaining HGVs. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:
- A valid Class 1 ( C+E) license
- The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Be punctual, reliable and flexible, and; willing to learn new skills
- Great attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

We’re seeking a Panel Beater to assemble a variety of components, ensuring high standards of quality and precision. With your duties including:
- Assessing vehicles’ damage and determining where and how to perform the repair work
- Stripping and rebuilding accident-damaged vehicles
- Carrying out extensive repair work using various methods in a modern fully equipped Accident Repair Centre in accordance with BSI standards
- Replacing and repairing damaged panels
- Welding new panels into place
- Working to the highest standards ensuring quality of work meets customer expectation
- Carry out all work tasks in a safe and responsible manner and adhere to company health and safety policies
- Contribute to the delivery of the department’s work schedule, operating in the allocated times given
- Identify and report any actual or potential health and safety-related issues
- Clean and maintain all equipment and work area
To be successful in this Panel Beater role, you will have the followings skills, traits and experience:
- Experience in mechanical assembly
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use assembly tools
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities
- Basic computer skills for documentation.
What’s on offer? Permanent, full-time position, with a competitive salary dependent on experience. As well as, 33 days holiday per year; and high earning potential through overtime and bonuses.
