Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for an individual to become a Yard Operative with our Glenrothes-based client.
What’s on offer?
- Monday to Friday – 42.5 hours per week
- £11.44 per hour – paid weekly
- Immediate starts available
As a Yard Operative your duties will include:
- Loading and unloading of vehicles
- Receiving, checking and storing goods
- Preparing customer orders for deliveries/collections
- Keeping yard and warehouse areas tidy
- General labouring duties
- Operating Forklift Truck (following appropriate training)
To be successful as a Yard Operative, you will have previous experience in a labouring or other manual position – preferably in a yard environment. Combined with the ability to work on your own and in a team; following both verbal and written instructions. Forklift experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
