Connect Driver Solutions, one of the most trusted driving and transport recruiters, are looking for Class 1 Night Shift Drivers to join our client ASAP on a temporary-to-permanent basis!
Location: Killingholme (DN40)
Schedule: Working Monday to Friday (nights) – there may be occasional Saturday & Sunday work. Start times from 1pm, shifts can be 8 to 12 hours long
You will be paid via agency initially then will go across full-time pending successful completion of first 12 weeks (temp-to-perm).
Full-time Pay Rates: £14.80 per hour basic rate, with a meal allowance of £5 per day and Sunday/Bank Holidays at £15.05 per hour
Your Responsibilities as a Class 1 Night Shift Driver:
- Operate Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
- Trunking work – may be occasions you need to do a collection or delivery on way back
- Perform regular vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance
- Comply with WTD, driver hours & rest periods
What You Need as a Class 1 Night Shift Driver:
- Valid CAT C+E licence/LGV 1/HGV 1 licence
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience with Class 1 vehicles
- Valid CPC & Digi cards
- No more than 3 points on your licence, with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted
