Connect Appointments are seeking a Repair Mechanic to join our Dunfermline based manufacturing client.

- Permanent full-time position
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30 (with an early Friday finish)
- Competitive salary up to £41,500 per annum DOE
- 33 days holiday per year

Working as a Repair Mechanic, your duties will include:
- Preparing vehicle bodies for the application of paint coating to different types of vehicle bodies and rolling stock
- Using and selecting appropriate tools, equipment, and materials as required for work tasks
- Using your core technical skills and experience to complete tasks on time and safely
- Communicating any discrepancies or changes to your supervisor and engineering teams
- Ensuring your work area is maintained in a safe and tidy manner
To be successful in this role, you will have the followings skills, traits and experience:
- Experience with hand and power tools
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and team working skills
- Basic computer skills
