Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Recycling Operative to join and strengthen our clients existing team in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham.
Please Note: Knowledge and awareness of Health & Safety is essential for this role.
Working as a Recycling Operative, your duties will include:
- A key focus on Health and Safety in the workplace
- Carrying out manual procedures and manual lifting
- Packing and repacking batteries sorting by chemistry
- Disassembling unit with batteries and preparing the loads for shipment
- Preparing trailers including but not limited to pulling open/closing side curtains and fastening/unfastening load-securing straps
- Paperwork verification’s
- Communication with managers, supervisors and stock control team
- General warehouse duties and housekeeping
What to expect from the role?
- Monday to Friday, 8am until 4.30pm
- £12.21 per hour – paid weekly
