Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced and reliable individual to become a Senior Machine Operator on a permanent basis within our client’s Cumbernauld-based manufacturing facility.
What’s on offer?
- £30,000 per annum
- Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm
- Full-time permanent position
Working as a Senior Machine Operator, you will be responsible for:
- Operating machinery such as power presses, brake presses, rolling mills, and drilling machines to produce steel fencing and gate components
- Operate and maintain machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures and health and safety guidelines
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify any faults or defects
- Calculating for measurements and adjustments
- Reading and interpreting basic technical drawings
To be successful as a Senior Machine Operator, you will require previous experience working with power presses, brake press machines or similar machinery, as well as:
- A good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent work ethic
