Connect Appointments is partnering with a leading company in East Kilbride that specialises in signage solutions! They are seeking a skilled Welder to join their growing team.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:20am to 4:20pm (with an early finish on Friday)
Pay rates: £17 to £18 per hour
Responsibilities as a Welder include:
- Perform general welding duties in all required areas
- Ensure welding is carried out to set standards
- Collaborate with the team to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Maintain a tidy and safe working environment
To be successful in this Welder role, you will possess the following skills, traits and experience:
- Previous experience with TIG/MIG welding and aluminium (essential)
- Ability to interpret design drawings and specifications (essential)
- Previous experience with laser welding (preferred, but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and quality of work
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
