Connect Appointments have a new opportunity in the Glasgow area for experienced Pipefitters/Welders – ongoing contract with possibility of permanent opportunity.
What’s on offer?
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:30
- £22.50 to £26.50 – paid weekly
- On transfer to permanent a van is supplied for travel (this may also be available during your agency operating period)
Working as a Pipefitter/Welder, you will be working primarily on thin wall metric and hygiene stainless, also schedule stainless and carbon – carrying out all pipefitting duties and weld to a coded standard.
You will predominately operate within the central belt with occasional work out with, mainly undertake site work on various locations in distilleries, breweries, waste to energy, food processing etc.
To be successful in this Pipefitter/Welder role, you will have previous experience in a Pipefitting / Welding environment. With the ability to follow both written and verbal instructions; able to work on your own and in a team; and a great eye of detail
