Connect Appointments are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join and strengthen our client’s team.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday (overtime available), across Boldon and the North East.
As a Commercial Gas Engineer your duties and responsibilities will be around Commercial Heating Controls and Installation. As such, you will:
- Carrying out maintenance inspections, repairs and servicing of commercial plant room equipment
- Attending reactive, diagnostic and repair calls to commercial gas appliances and plant
- Completing associated commercial gas certification documentation in line with industry requirements
- Emergency call out rota system in place
To be successful within this position, you will be a Gas Safe Registered Engineer with 3 years commercial gas experience, whilst having the following skills, traits, and experience:
- Commercial Gas: 2 years (preferred)
- Licence/Certification: OFTEC and COMCAT qualifications are highly desirable
- Minimum of 12 months remaining on ACS qualifications
- Driving Licence (preferred)
