Connect Appointments are currently seeking a Forklift Driver to join our client’s facility in Stafford, Staffordshire.
What’s on offer?
- Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm
- £11.44 per hour – paid weekly
Working as a Forklift Driver, your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Undertaking all aspects of the waste collections on-site: including baling of recyclable wastes
- Operating a forklift truck to collect waste from various users on-site and return to the waste compound facility
- Operating a forklift truck for unloading and loading of vehicles
- Carrying out housekeeping of operational areas on an ongoing basis
- Proactively reporting safety concerns and improvement opportunities
- Operating in accordance with current legislation, company procedures, site procedures and site rules
To be successful in this FLT role, you will have a current forklift license, with previous experience operating a forklift in a busy environment. Combined with the following skills and traits:
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Enjoy working outside
- Adaptable and good practically with good common sense is an advantage
- Keen and ambitious to lean
- Reasonably fit due to works involves a lot of walking and labouring type works on-site
