Connect Appointments have a new opportunity for a Machine Operator to join our Lochgelly based production client.
Working as a Machine Operator, your duties will include, but not limited to:
- Operating machinery as per standard operating procedure
- Identify and correct product quality issues
- Record production data
- Ensure all company policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure material yield and machine availability is optimised
- Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times
- Monitoring machinery at all times
To be successful in this Machine Operator role, you’ll ideally have previous experience within an industrial environment – previous experience working with machinery and tools would be advantageous. Combined with:
- An understanding of how to maintain machines
- Ability to work on your own and work well with others
- Thorough attention to detail
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Good time management skills
- Physical coordination and dexterity
What’s on offer? Full-time ongoing position, working Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:30pm (with an early Friday finish) – paid weekly at £12 per hour.
