Salary: Depending on experience
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm with an early finish on Fridays
Our client serves some of the UK’s most recognisable brands – they are an expert designer, manufacturer, and installer of signs. They’re now looking for a Press Brake Operator to join their cutting-edge team.

As a Press Brake Operator, your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a press brake to manufacture rainscreen and gutter components from sheet metal
- Preparing, setting up, and adjusting press brake as required by product plans and production schedules
- Measuring and aligning materials to be used
- Inspecting products, evaluating finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications
- Performing routine maintenance on the press brake
- Maintaining a clean working area
- Performing any other related duties as assigned
The ideal Press Brake Operator will have:
- The ability to safely and effectively operate or learn to operate the press brake controls
- The ability to follow instructions
- The ability to read, interpret, and follow production drawings and product plans
- Basic maths and computer skills
- Previous experience of LVD press brakes preferred but not essential
- At least one year of experience in metal fabricator or related work environment preferred
- The physical ability to operate the press brake
- The ability to withstand prolonged periods of standing, pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying materials
- The ability to lift 25kg at a time
