Connect Appointments have an exciting opportunity for a Semi Skilled Mechanic to join and help grow our Musselburgh based client.
What’s on offer?
- Monday to Friday, 06:30 to 16:30 (overtime available)
- Pay from £15 per hour – paid weekly

Your duties a Semi Skilled Mechanic will include:
- Liaising and reporting to the workshop/site manager
- General maintenance across the site
- Complete daily job sheet
- Carrying out regular servicing of on-site machinery
- Changing bearings, motors, and gearboxes on the plant
- Carrying out repairs and other maintenance on vehicles, machines, and affected components
- Using a variety of specialist equipment and tools
- Liaising with site management with regard to required repairs and part ordering
To be successful in this role you will ideally have the following skills, traits and experience:
- The ability to work on your own and as part of a team
- Be punctual, reliable and flexible, and; willing to learn new skills
- Great attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Proven desirable experience within a mechanic/vehicle technician role
- Some HGV/Plant Machinery is desirable
