Connect Appointments are seeking a Welder to join our clients busy night shift team in the East Lothian area, near Musselburgh.
What’s on offer?
- Monday to Friday, 6pm to 6am
- £14.87 to £17.00 p/hr – paid weekly
Working as a Welder, you’ll be responsible for mechanical maintenance, service and repair of heavy plant machinery such as crushers, conveyors, shredders vibrating screens. Other maintenance tasks may be required depending on the needs.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have good mechanical maintenance, fitting and fabrication experience, preferably in heavy industry environments such as recycling, sites, mining or aggregates sectors.
Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:
- Competent to carry out welding, cutting, burning and fabricating
- Have good MIG/MMA welding skills
- Able to work weekends when required
