Working as a Warehouse Operative:
- Night Shift: 5/6 nights out of 7
- Working 1am to 9:30am
- Pay rate of £13.73 p/h
Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operative:
- Receiving goods at the loading/goods in dock
- Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
- Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
- Sorting through various types of parcels
- Using hand-held scanners
- Ensuring tight deadlines are being met
- Keeping up to date with in house records
- Working efficiently as part of a team
- Adhering to strict health and safety precautions
To be successful in this warehouse role you’ll ideally have previous experience in a warehouse or other fast-paced environment. Combined with the ability to work on your own and as part of a team.

This is a full-time permanent position working Monday to Friday (overtime available), across Boldon and the North East.
As a Commercial Gas Engineer your duties and responsibilities will be around Commercial Heating Controls and Installation. As such, you will:
- Have an understanding of commercial heating and system control wiring, boilers, pressurisation units, pumps, control valves, and others
- Gas boiler replacements and heating system upgrades
- Hot water replacements and vented to unvented system upgrades
- Carrying out annual boiler servicing
- Attending planned and un-planned urgent call outs
- Fault finding and repair work to boilers, heating wiring, systems and controls
To be successful within this position, you will be a Gas Safe Registered Engineer with 3 years commercial gas experience, whilst having the following skills, traits, and experience:
- CSCS – preferred
- Driving license – required
- City & guilds – preferred
- Be able to work in non-domestic properties only
- Be able to work independently and with team members
- Start and complete urgent jobs with minimal notice
- Be willing to work overtime, when required, to complete urgent jobs
- Understand, deal with and resolve problems as described by the customer
- Be willing to go the extra mile
Combined with a competitive salary of £38,000 to £44,000 per annum, you will benefit from a company van; 30 days holiday (extra for time in service); paid call out; your gas and oil tickets will be kept up to date; full training including MEWP’s and PASMA; progression opportunities are available.

Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Providing comprehensive support across the site, handling various tasks as needed
- Ensuring products are manufactured in accordance with company procedures and meet specifications, supplying relevant supporting paperwork
- Assisting Production with innovation, process development, standard operating procedures, and technology application for continuous improvement
- Inspecting materials, welds, dimensions, and painting processes, with opportunities for training and development
- Conducting inspections at different production stages, including at supplier premises, to identify non-conformities in line with company procedures
- Collaborating with the team and work independently to support inspection and auditing processes, contributing to general quality-related activities and projects within the quality department
To be successful in engineering role you will ideally have previous experience, with in-depth knowledge of quality and welding management systems ISO9001 and ISO3834. Combined with the following skills, traits and experience:
- Experience with EN1090-2 is advantageous
- Ability to support the improvement of processes and procedures
- Competence in welder monitoring, weld sequences/standard operating procedures (SOP), and distortion control
- Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and international specifications
- A background in welding/fabrication manufacturing and/or quality-related activities
- Knowledge of welding processes, with expertise in MAG being essential, and TIG, SMAW methods -advantageous
- Familiarity with materials such as S355-60, 690-60 plate and pipe, and 960-40 plate
- Experience with products like Harbour mobile cranes and LR crawler cranes
- Ability to communicate information clearly at all levels, coupled with a methodical and logical approach
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills to support the department
- Membership in a professional institute (TWI, CQI, NACE, IIW, CMI, etc.) is a must-have
- Travel within the UK and Europe for a few weeks per year will be necessary
An official qualification for a Welding Engineer accredited in the UK is required, such as the International Welding Engineer (IWE) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) certification – highly required.
