Connect Appointments are recruiting a number of reliable individuals to join our clients warehouse team in Livingston, West Lothian, as Warehouse Parcel Sorters.
What’s on offer? On-going work with day and back shift hours available; paid weekly at £11.44 per hour:
- Twilight/Day Shift: Tuesday to Saturday , 2am to 10am
As a Warehouse Parcel Sorter, your responsibilities will include:
- Loading and unloading vehicles
- Picking and Packaging of customer orders
- Ensuring that all items that are loaded/unloaded match the relevant paperwork
- Reporting any damaged/missing items to Warehouse Managers/Supervisors
- Keeping the warehouse environment clean and tidy and maintaining warehouse equipment
- Assisting with warehouse inventory controls
- General warehouse and labourer duties
To be successful in this warehouse position, you will ideally have previous experience in a warehouse or other fast paced environment. Combined with:
- Good physical strength and fitness
- Excellent team-working skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Great organisational and record-keeping skills
- The ability to work effectively under limited supervision

Connect Appointments have a new opportunity with our Broxburn based production client. We’re seeking a reliable and experienced individual to become a Service Technician.
What’s on offer?
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 16:00 – with an early Friday finish
- £25,700 per annum
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
Working as a Service Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Inspect and clean products that have been returned from customers in a timely manner
- Repair damaged items and communicate with service technicians regarding repairs
- Maintain and test products following the maintenance schedule
- Pick and pack items for orders, ensuring they’re suitable for customer use
- Keep track of stock levels, reporting to management if replenishment is required
- Regular reviews of stock levels
- Communicating with operations team regarding scrapping items and replenishment
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have previous experience in a similar role, with the following skills, traits and experience:
- Understanding of electrical equipment with some experience in electrical repairs
- Strong time management skills and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
